King Arthur: The Once and Future King of Fanfiction
A 20-minute documentary short exploring the role of fanfiction in cementing a work as a timeless literary classic through the lens of the King Arthur's legend's evolution over 1000 years.
King Arthur: The Once and Future King of Fanfiction is a 20-minute documentary short. It showcases my research into the history of King Arthur as a work of literature, and the role of fanfiction in cementing a work of literature as a timeless classic.
This video was written, filmed, and edited by me, and I provided all of the voice-over dialogue. This work showcases my video-editorial skillset: transitions, audio cleanup, background music, combining live action recording and still photos, and closed-captioning.
This video was created as the final individual project for the course ECI 513 - Video for Teaching and Learning, with approximately 10 weeks between initial topic brainstorming to final submission.
